Hi *|FNAME|*,

In my 10th year as ACAMIS's Contracted PD Coordinator and Leadership Facilitator, I am excited to present to you ACAMIS's Professional Development Courses for 2021-22. Several of these courses have Early Bird and Bulk Registration discounts.

Two considerations drove my planning for 2021-22, the first of which is that there will not be a return to normal. Therefore Middle Leaders and Non-Academic Staff need opportunities to process how to move beyond the pandemic. For this reason, we are introducing monthly Job-Alikes for different roles to connect.

Secondly, participants will need greater support in applying course content, for which virtual courses have proven to be the most cost-effective in terms of providing opportunities to embed learning in their role. To ensure this, we will continue to report to Senior Leaders on what their staff are learning and how they can support them.

ACAMIS contracts PD Academia to coordinate bespoke training opportunities for Middle Leadership and Non-Academic Staff; our mandate is to:
  • Coordinate PD for specific roles that aren't offered PD or that Conferences don't provide rich enough content for;
  • Provide training in English and Mandarin Chinese;
  • Ensure training content is widely applicable across ACAMIS member schools;
  • Provide opportunities for specific roles to network across schools; and
  • Challenge participants to apply course knowledge and tools to their own working context.
I look forward to continue serving you this school year,

Michael Iannini
